House of Ales Beverages
Being the House of Ales, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to tell you about our large selection of quality beers, wines and spirits!
We offer 11 beers on tap, including excellent Kiwi brews and international champions, such as Heineken, Erdinger and Murphy’s. As if this weren’t enough, our fridges are stocked with many more beers and ciders for you to explore, including several produced right here in Nelson, including Founders and Lighthouse brands.
Alternatively, our wine list is equally impressive, with over 30 red, white and sparkling wines making up an extensive portfolio. We happily recommend and serve wines from both international and national wineries, and proudly support many local vineyards such as Brightwater and Seifrieds.
Finally, from whiskeys and ports, to vodkas and gins, we serve a range of spirits, mixed, shaken, stirred and served to your liking! However, for the best results, get spirited away by one of our Classic or HOA Special cocktails such as the Old-Fashioned or Basil and Lime Martini.
